# Create a ticket

## Description

Creates a support ticket. The subject is required; description, client, assignee, priority, initial tags, and an outbound-capable destination inbox are optional. Creation never sends an outbound message.

    - `client_id` (`string|null`) — Client to link to the ticket.
    - `department_id` (`string|null`) — Department to set, or null to clear it.
    - `description` (`string|null`) — Ticket description. The platform stores a preview on the ticket.
    - `inbox_id` (`string|null`) — Optional live, active, outbound-capable destination inbox visible to the caller.
    - `priority` (`string|null`)
    - `subject` (`string`, required) — Ticket subject.
    - `tags` (`array<string>`) — Initial tag values. Duplicate values are normalized away.
